The series brings together two opposing techniques. Ceramic casting, slow and ancestral,
to ultrasonic sewing.
The former is perceived as more artisanal, while the latter is used mainly to produce disposable industrial objects such as surgical masks.
The tension between the two techniques is illustrated by the tension in textiles
and the color contrast.
